What happens at a Naturopathic appointment?.
Your first consultation is designed to help make sense of your health.
Rather than focusing on a single symptom, we’ll explore how different aspects of your health may be connected. Depending on your concerns, we might look at your nutrition, sleep, stress, gut health, hormone changes, immune function, activity levels, medications, and medical history to understand what may be contributing to the way you’re feeling.
Together, we’ll identify the factors that are most likely to have the biggest impact on your health.
You’ll leave with a personalised, evidence-informed treatment plan that prioritises practical changes you can realistically implement.
Every recommendation is explained, so you understand why it’s included and how it supports your health goals.
Your plan may include:
- Nutrition and dietary strategies
- Herbal medicines and nutritional supplements (when appropriate)
- Lifestyle modifications
- Mind-body practices
Recommendations that complement your current medical care and prescription medicines
My role isn’t simply to recommend supplements. It’s to help you understand what’s happening in your body, connect the dots between your symptoms, and create a plan that supports meaningful, long-term health change.
What happens after your appointment?
At the end of your consultation you’ll have a clear understanding of the next steps.
You’ll receive an email with:
- A personalised treatment plan tailored to your health goals. What does a personalised treatment plan look like? The treatment plan is built around you—your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and goals. Rather than focusing on one symptom, I look at how different body systems interact.
- Your plan may include nutrition, lifestyle changes, mind-body practices, herbal medicine, nutraceuticals, or further testing. Every recommendation has a purpose and is explained so you understand why it’s included.
You will have an opportunity to ask questions before deciding how you’d like to proceed.
Some people make a few simple changes and don’t need ongoing support. Others choose follow-up appointments so we can review progress, adjust the plan and continue working towards their health goals.
