Women’s Health Naturopath
Women’s health can change through different stages of life, from menstrual concerns and PMS to perimenopause and menopause. Changes in your cycle, mood, energy, sleep and digestion can affect how you feel day to day. A naturopathic consultation provides time to explore these concerns through a whole-health lens, considering your health history, nutrition, lifestyle, stress and sleep. Together, we’ll identify relevant priorities and develop a personalised, evidence-informed approach to support your health and wellbeing.
Consultations available in person in Christchurch or online via Zoom throughout New Zealand.

Collaborative, Personalised Care
A naturopathic consultation gives us dedicated time to explore what you’re experiencing, understand the bigger picture and consider which factors may be relevant to your health. From there, we can work together to develop a personalised approach that fits your needs and health goals.
Naturopath for Women’s Health
Changes in your menstrual cycle, mood, energy, sleep, digestion and stress levels can all affect how you feel and function day to day.
Whether you’re experiencing difficult periods, PMS, PMOS, endometriosis, perimenopause or changes in your health as you move through different stages of life, a personalised approach can help us understand the bigger picture and consider where support may be useful.

Working with Autumn means having time to explore your health in the context of your individual circumstances, preferences and lifestyle. Your treatment plan is informed by current evidence, clinical experience and what matters to you.
Hormonal health is connected to many aspects of everyday health. Menstrual cycles, mood, energy, sleep and symptoms through perimenopause can be influenced by factors such as nutrition, stress, sleep, digestive health, thyroid function and lifestyle. During your consultation, we can explore which of these may be relevant to your individual health concerns.
Women’s Health Concerns I Commonly Support
Women can experience significant changes in their health at different stages of life. I commonly support women experiencing:
PMS and Menstrual Health
Premenstrual symptoms, painful periods, heavy bleeding, irregular cycles, mood changes, headaches and fatigue can have a real impact on everyday life.
During a consultation, we can explore your menstrual health alongside your nutrition, stress, sleep, digestive health, lifestyle and overall health history to consider where personalised support may be appropriate.
Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS)
PMOS, previously known as PCOS, can affect menstrual cycles, skin health, weight, metabolic health and fertility, and experiences can vary considerably from one woman to another.
Naturopathic care can provide supportive care alongside medical management. We can look at factors such as nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep and metabolic health and consider practical strategies that are appropriate for your individual needs.
Endometriosis
Living with endometriosis can be physically and emotionally demanding. Pain, heavy periods, fatigue and digestive symptoms can affect everyday life and quality of life.
Naturopathic care may provide supportive care alongside your medical treatment. Your consultation gives us time to understand your individual health picture and consider nutrition, lifestyle and other appropriate strategies as part of your overall care.
Perimenopause and Menopause
Perimenopause and menopause can bring changes in periods, sleep, mood, energy, temperature regulation and how you feel day to day.
A personalised approach can help us look at these changes in the context of your overall health. We can consider factors such as nutrition, sleep, stress, lifestyle and cardiovascular and bone health, alongside any medical care you may already have in place.

FAQs
What does a women’s health naturopathic consultation cover?
Your naturopathic consultation takes a whole-health approach to female physiology. We look closely at how multiple factors interact—including your nutrition, daily stress, sleep quality, and digestive health—to understand how they are influencing your menstrual cycles, mood, energy, and hormonal transitions.
Can I claim my women’s health consultation on my health insurance?
Yes. Because I am a fully registered member of the Naturopaths and Medical Herbalists of New Zealand (NMHNZ), your appointments may be eligible for a rebate depending on your specific health insurance policy module (such as the Southern Cross Wellbeing modules). I provide a full practitioner receipt after your session so you can easily file your claim.
How do you support chronic conditions like endometriosis or PMOS?
Naturopathic care provides evidence-informed, supportive care alongside your standard medical management. We focus on practical dietary modifications, stress management strategies, and targeted herbal medicine to help support your everyday comfort, metabolic health, and overall quality of life.
Do I need to visit your Christchurch clinic in person?
Not at all. While you are always welcome to book an in-person session in Christchurch, I offer secure online consultations via Zoom for clients right across New Zealand. Recommended practitioner-grade supplements or herbal blends are prepared in my dispensary and couriered straight to your door.
